    We finally shipped our first (huge) content update for Free Realms. Included were:
    • Completely Redesigned Combat and Dungeons
    • Matchmaking System
    • Housing
    • Fishing (new) and Soccer Updates
    • New Pets and Lots of New Animations

    (I coded the majority of the first two items.)

    We're still testing / sorting out bugs this week, before our commercials hit TV again. If you haven't looked in a while, please check it out and let me know what you think. If you see me in-game (Derelict), we can get you all added to the guild there.

    I've played it a couple of times since the patch hit, and it's actually quite fun, dammit. I mean... srsly... Did I need something else to play?

    The only thing I'm really sad about is how EXTREMELY they dumbed down fishing. Some of the earlier fishing minigames were actually fun. This one is about equivalent to WoW fishing.

    Is free realms supposed to be a "safer" wow version game? I mean I am noticing a lot of like components.

    Such as? The MMO market (and WoW in particular) borrow a lot of ideas from previous games.

    Free Realms is a safe, free MMO for kids.
