So ... to help gear Smeggsy faster I have decided to go the tank route as his secondary spec and gear up his tanking enough to make Heroics a breeze then badge my way to DPS. This may mean a delay in getting to ToC level dps but I think will benefit the group overall having a usefull offtank spec/gear.

With that in mind I got my self def capped at the expense of coarse of a decent health pool and starting hitting heroics. Some go well with not a word said even in tough dungeons like HoL and UtPinn. But some do not and I get flamed a decent amount. I am thinking that this is just epeen peeps expecting to get a fully raid geared tank in their Heroic but take a look at my armory for me ... I think I am Heroic Appropriately geared and the bitching is crap. Yes I have a couple of greens but honestly I think I should be fine. I plan on ignoring the bitching anyway just want a sanity check from my friends lol

I ran Smeggsy through WoW Heroes, and it was informative.

To get some really quick bang-for-the-buck upgrades, enchant your gear, especially the legs for a good HP bump. You're missing gems and a head enchant, as well. I count 150 stam in missing enchants, one missing gem, and missing belt buckle and it's gem(email Hoostomp and I'll make it for you). If you're a 400 blacksmith, you can socket bracers and gloves, as well.

Then, start working on the "visual" stuff. No matter how good an item is for a green, folks will see that it's "just a green". After that point, anything that goes wrong will be "f-ing tank in greens" stupidness.

Check out the Gear Analysis and Ranking guide at the top of the web site. It's got a ton of into in it, well.

Of all of that I am aware hehe. I have fully geared another tank on Ravenholdt. I know what missing and what needed and in time will get all that. Unfortunatly those items are harder for me to come by here as I have no infrastructure here to make money. This took is recently 80 and as most death knights start out has no tradeskillz. I have no other toons on this server. I am swimming in money potential on Ravenholdt but eh oh well.

I will get all that stuff in time but I am not going to spend money I dont have to enchant/gem gear thats going to be replaced in less than a week with new gear.

This was just more a rant on bitchy pugs that expect fully raid geared people or their not happy.
